True Story:

I (Nez) was in Southern California, driving in a rented hot rod, on my way to spread my Dad's ashes in the Pacific Ocean and I get a call from Mimi right as I pass the exit for the Hollywood Bowl.

She'd had a glass of wine and (I'm guessing here) started marinating on the state of things in our country and out came these lyrics, all in one big stream. A perfect fit for a piece of music we had previously called "Lost Not Lost."

I loved it.

We worked on this new song (and some other songs still to come) during COVID times, watching seemingly intelligent people fall down rabbit holes and come out poisoned by disinformation and conspiracy; how they just keep feeding themselves this diet of hate and anger. It made sense that the working title was "Gnashing" and it stayed that way all through recording, mixing and right up until Jason was mastering it. Then we renamed it one more time.

Here it is, "All Fall Down."
